The standard duration of undergraduate programs at Tsinghua University is four years of full-time study, with the following exceptions:

1. The  Architecture Program (Architecture Division) and the Sculpture Program (Arts Division), which require five years;

2. The Clinical      Medicine Program, which requires eight years and leads directly to a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree.

Most programs are taught in both Chinese and English, with certain programs specifically designed to be delivered only in English. Upon successful completion of all required coursework and the undergraduate thesis defense, students will be awarded a bachelor's degree and a graduation certificate. For the Clinical Medicine Program, graduates will be conferred the Doctor of Medicine degree.
